I'm an Atheist, but I want to pray for myself... how do I do that?

I know this might be silly and unusual but I really want to pray myself about God curing my attention deficit disorder (ADD) because I am struggling with it so bad, and holding all the abuse in by kids, even grown adults by making fun of my grammar, spelling, comprehension, ect. And I really really want God to make it heal me from that, or maybe even make it better somehow... so how exactly should I pray and tell/ask him for healing?

Ex husband remarried for the 4th time, 2nd new stepmom in a year?

My exhusband recently got involved with a woman with 2 kids the same age as his own. He no longer has alot to do with his own girls to busy with his new ones I guess. I caught wind they have married recently with her girls there, his girls don't know anything about it. He is coming into town this weekend with new family to tell the girls. Am I being crazy because to me this seems like a bad father not even including his own kids. Am I wrong? Don't know how to make our girls not be so sad. Any Suggestions?

2009 Nissan Maxima or 2009 Infiniti G37?

Which would you buy if you could? I like the Infiniti G37 more, but the only thing is it's rear wheel drive. I like the reliability of the front wheel drive in snow, water, etc.. Problem with 2000 mazda protege.... transmission has to warm up a lot before it starts working. why?

so i checked the fluid.... the amount looks good and its very reddish so i guesss it's fresh... another thing that happens before it warms up is that the overdrive light starts flashing/ blinking... if i drive it while the o/d blinks then the car runs REALLY rough and the gears take such a long time to shift and the gears kick in pretty roughly.... but if it warms up a lot the o/d light stops blinking and the car runs fine for that whole day.... until the next day when it starts all over again....any advice?

Hi guys!! So, i am starting the ukulele (at least I want to) and I am trying to buy a ukulele. So I was wondering, what brand do you think is the best? 1996 S10 overheating, no heat blowing inside cab?

Thermostat is getting stuck. It is really cheap and easy if you know about cars. As far as the heater core, it could also get clogged up, As for the defrost only working, that has to do with a door that is supposed to open and close. It could be in the control switch in your dash, which is electronic or runs off of a vacuum that could be cracked anywhere in the dash, or if the door that directs the heat and air conditioning is disfunctional, then you are looking at possibly taking the whole dash out to fix that. I know my Monte Carlo did that and that is what they told me and it was expensive, so I just let it go. Oh, I forgot, you could have air pockets in your cooling system. Your cooling system has to be bled sort of like your brakes do. If it is not thermostat, I would ask someone to bleed the system, it only takes one wrench and there are 2 bleeders. You start engine until fan kicks on which means water pump is circulating and then loosen the bleeder, which one I am not sure where to tell you on this vehicle. But anyways, unloosen it until water starts sputtering out and keep it open until it is a stead stream with no air bubbles. Then go to the other bleeder and do the same thing. Actually this really makes sense that you hear bubbles in the heater core because that may be when the air is pushed into there. Yeah, I didn't believe the person that told me about this but it is true a mechanic showed me. You have to bleed the coolant systems. Good luck.

I think you have strep throat or Tonsillitis. Also you may have an ear infection if the pain is more on one side of the throat then the other. Joints hurting could be a fever? I would say take heavy night quil or some over the counter medicine for the rest of day and night. If it isn't better by tomorrow it wont get better with going to the doctor or it might take weeks or turn into something worse. Also tylenol will help with the swelling and fever.

Why can’t my ex-husband, family and friends just accept that I don’t want to be a part of my daughter's life?

A good turkey brine recipie?

I use the one from Emeril from the food channel. It contains white wine, orange juice, brown sugar bay leaves pepper corns, fresh ginger root ,kosher salt and water. I use a new clean 5 gallon bucket for a 15lb turkey. I have used this for the past 3 years. It makes the most wonderful turkey. These are just the ingrediants I remember. My best friend of like 10yrs was diagnosed with HPV. She was hysterically crying and i wanted to console her. I told her things like thank god this isn't HIV or . Please Help! Blanket Problems!!?

I live in MN and its cold, like 5-17 degrees each day sometimes warmer, i bought my mare a 1200denier tough 1 blanket and she seems like she might be to hot at times, i just put it on her 2days ago, she has her winter coat and it s healty weight, the bad thing is she seems alittle sweaty on her chest! Should i bring in the stall for the night and take of her blanket, so she can get used to the colder temps again and then only put the blanket on during windy, snowy, blizzardy conditions? How do I add drainage to an existing garage floor?

When I park my car or truck in my garage water from rain or snow drips of the car and runs all over. Most garage floors are pitched toward the doors or a floor drain, mine does not have any pitch to it so the water ends up running into my workshop in the front of the garage and also runs into the walls where it is wicked up by the sheetrock. I am thinking about cutting 1/2" wide by 1/4" deep trenches in the floor around the cars to chanel the water to a drain basin. I don't want to use floor mats, and I don't want to install trench drains. Any ideas?

I have had this toothache for about a month in the same spot the tooth in front of my wisdom tooth my wisdom tooth doesn't hurt. Liquid diets and weight gain?

About 11 days ago i had 3 teeth pulled. Two left back molars side by side and 1 bottom left wisdom tooth. So there is about a 4 to 6 inch gap in my upper jaw. One tooth had to be broken in pieces in order to be removed. Healing is going well, but there is still a fairly big hole in the top and still a small hole where the wisdom tooth was. I am fanatical about brushing and rinsing after every meal and snack so no food particles with get inside. Up until about 3 days ago i was on a total liquid diet consisting of Special K protein drinks, V8 and broth or cream type soups. I was barely taking in 1000 calories a day. As of this morning i have lost 14 lbs. Which didn't seem so bad considering that i was nearly 25 lbs overweight. But then i keep reading about how sudden weight loss and dramatic drop in calories can almost halt your metabolism, so now i'm a little worried. So i have been trying to incorporate semi solids a little at a time over the past 3 days, gradually adding about 100 extra calories per day. Today it was about 1350. My question is, how many calories do i need to maintain my metabolism without crashing. I also have a fatty liver and i know that sudden weight loss can have adverse reactions with this condition also. So how can i get enough calories when my food choices are so limited. My dentist said it could take up to 3 to 4 weeks to go back to a normal diet. Even then i have to be careful not to get anything hard in the extraction site. That could bean additional 6 to 8 weeks.

Anti-nausea medications: What else is there?? Not working....?

Hello, I have been having problems with nausea nearly every day. Sometimes it gets so unbearable that I can't eat for at least a few days and if I drink anything, it has to be lukewarm, I have to sip it and I have to remain motionless for at least an hour to keep it down. I have had tests on me and they found an ulcer on me back in 2008 which I am pretty sure is no longer there as my last tests showed, but I still take Protonix daily. When the nausea gets unbearable, I need something more, though. I have been put on Zofran, didn't work. I have been put on Phenergan, oh my Lord I hated that. I continued to be nauseous but had a stabbing feeling in my stomach and the nausea actually got worse. Plus, both meds gave me the worst dry mouth ever. I've tried so many OTC things that do absolutely nothing to help. What other medications are out there that I can talk to my doctor about when I see them again? I had a gastric byp years ago, which makes my stomach more sensitive. I am 26, female.

2001 saab 93 se starting and turbo problems?

3 times in last 2 weeks, 2001 saab 93 se cranked over normally, but would not start. However, i was able to "pop start" each time by rolling down a hill. Wierd because the starter etc seemed to be crank normally. For 8 mos. the check engine lite has been coming on now and then, so i plugged in Code Check computer device and it showed code p0107. Code Check site said something like fuel/air mix too lean. Also now the car on heavy acceleration, misses and the turbo has long lag and will only move the turbo gauge about a 1/4 to 1/3. Also is a slight change in idle rpms from about 950 to 1100 every 10 secs or so, accompanied by a slight rattling noise increase, audible only with the hood open near the front penger side of the engine. Cause i use 87 octane and run the tank to very near E (Wed,100 m into 400 m trip i ran out) today i put in octane booster and a fuel additive to dry out water.May help? Also,had new throttle body, 10/09. Your diagnosis? Please.

I have tried may recipes and have made countless attempts to recreate the yummy concoction I get from Chinese restaurants, all of them tasting like nothing more than chicken soup. YUCK. Each recipe I've found is essentially like all the others and all are chicken broth based. Now I'm not saying that there isn't some chicken broth in the restaurant soups, but they sure don't taste like chicken soup. Replacing tub/shower with a shower. Do I need a new vent?

I ripped out a 30 x 60 tub/shower and am replacing with a 34x 60 walk in shower (prefab fibergl pan). The plumbing is currently a 2" drain that tees into a 1.5" tub drain and 1.5" tub overflow drain. My plan is to cut off the t and replace with a 1.5" elbow connected to the shower drain. Will this work and will there be any venting problems? I.e. is the venting already handled by the existing plumbing (which is below concrete slab I can't see). thanks!!

Really bad headaches from..? please help?

my fiance has been getting these horrible headaches lately..behind the eyes..above his neck.. and directly ontop of his head..he has been slightly dizzy as well..we are confused as to what is causing these..its pretty much a constant headache..it doesnt go away..not even taking any sort of pain reliever..this is what i think..hes on lexapro for anxiety issues..hes been on it for under a year..i am wondering if he needs to up his dosage..or if his body just is trying to tell him he doesnt need it anymore..he also has just got a job as a firefighter and has a new love for caffeine which he never drank much of before..could this be a reason for sudden headaches? is the caffeine not mixing well with the lexapro? i just feel so helpless when i cant control his headache..any input is greatly appreciated..!

If God is Almighty and Holy in all his might, then why is it that He could'nt save lucifer from falling?

God is, by the biblical texts, Almighty, Holy, and is able to do anything. Then why is it that he couldn't save Lucifer from his fall? Even if God gave the angels their own will to praise God or rebel, it shouldn't mean that God should give up on those who fail to choose to praise him. God just gave up on Lucifer, punishing him into earth and casting him as the father of lies and of pure evil. (This is uming by some translations that Lucifer does exist). To try and cut a long story short, I was having seriously excruciating pains in my side so I had scans and it showed a tumour on my gall bladder! Since then I have been having scans 1s a month to check the rate of growth, the doctor told me it is growing at an abnormal rate and is now bigger than the gall bladder itself! I am having my gall bladder completely taken out next week so they can do a biopsy on the tumour! I am only 20 and soooo scared as I haven't even had an operation before! Personally, I think disapproval of weed is down to the fact that it is illegal, so people automatically attach a stigma to it. But....realistically i think it can be less damaging than alcohol. Taking birth control pills and antibiotics?

I am 15 years old, and I take Yasmin (low dose bcp) for my acne, and it really cleared it up pretty well. However it has a cycle where it will be good for a couple of weeks then my skin breaks out especially around the chin area. So I went to the doctor and she prescribed an antibiotic called Minocycline. It's supposed to kill all the bacteria in your body, including good bacteria (from dairy produce, etc). On the label, it said that I should take cautions while taking it with birth control pills because it can alter then effectiveness of BCP. My skin is starting to get extremly dry and flaky and I always feel very cold. Any help?

I ask this and my previous question because I am a driver for Fedex, we don't expect tips, this is our job afterall to get your packages to you as quickly as possible(hopefully) I feel awkward when people try to give me money, so how do I refuse that without being rude? In my opinion if you want to do something nice for your driver I'd say just be nice in return and please understand if we are sometimes late, most of the time it isn't your drivers fault. But don't put up with bad service either if your courier is rude to you or does something that you think is unaceptable then call in and report them.
