Plzz help to choose a book for a mate!!?

hi there, I'm trying to buy a brilliant book for one of my friends. he likes books like "Animal Farm", "The lord of Flies", "Blindness", "Crime and Punishment" to name a few...He basically likes books that make him think!!...can you recommend a good book please!! (he has read all the above by the way!!)....Many thanks
