He is a unique, average man in his own right. Like anybody, he has his own opinions and his own morals and beliefs. That contributed by the fact he has a knowledge of Islam means he is a man with a valid opinion. You say bring some rationality to the Muslim community as if the entire rest of the Muslim Community is irrational terrorists? Bin Laden represents the Islamic community? Okay, the leader of the KKK represents the Christian community :D. And a palestinian-hating Israeli is the representer of the Jew community.
