Taking birth control pills and antibiotics?

I am 15 years old, and I take Yasmin (low dose bcp) for my acne, and it really cleared it up pretty well. However it has a cycle where it will be good for a couple of weeks then my skin breaks out especially around the chin area. So I went to the doctor and she prescribed an antibiotic called Minocycline. It's supposed to kill all the bacteria in your body, including good bacteria (from dairy produce, etc). On the label, it said that I should take cautions while taking it with birth control pills because it can alter then effectiveness of BCP. My skin is starting to get extremly dry and flaky and I always feel very cold. Any help?
