Animal Crossing City Folk Halloween Candy GLITCH?!?!?

On Animal Crossing City Folk on Halloween tonight, I dropped some candy so my neighbors wouldn't turn it into a Jack O Lantern. an hour later, I look at my candy. There are these weird black spikey things on it, it looks like fur. It is moving in a circular motion. I am not kidding. This looks really weird. What should I do?
