My wife would like to do dog sledding in the snow. Where is a cheap way of doing this?

unfortunately dog sledding isn't cheap.i don't know where you live, but every time i go on an excursion with my 2 kids it usually cost around $300-$350 for a few hours. we have a husky, bought a canadian kick sled for about $250 another couple hundred for the harness and ganglines..... 3 years into training we're gonna try more dogs this year. the dogs aren't cheap either, but it is fun- fun- fun! try blackicedogsledding.com for equipment. the best trip we ever went on was in Steamboat CO. they let you be the driver, not an employee. it was a blast. in minnesota they have 5 day trips where you go from yurt to yurt and winter camp... that's the next step for us.
