Can't fix internet router, can you help!?!?!?!?

I have a Cisco Linksys E2000 Router and managed to lose the start up CD after I installed it on my laptop and also forgot my pword and all that information I need. The main problem is because of this I can't connect to the internet with my computer because my computer doesn't register when an internet cable is plugged in, only the wireless would work.
